Hello and Welcome!

I am a silversmith & designer living and working in Scotland.

My main inspirations have come from the natural surroundings (the cosmos, the sea , the mountains, sun rays, fire etc etc.) and the culture and history of the people I have lived amongst, those being St Ives in Cornwall, the Black Isle in the Scottish Highlands, the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides and London......through all this period of time I have always been intrigued (obsessed?..lol..) by light reflecting on water.

(Please see drop-down menu on left for items to shop).

The work I am doing now is mainly inspired by my interest in this natural watery phenomenon of light moving, reflecting, refracting and never standing still. I try to capture  and reproduce this moment in time on the surfaces of my work.

I do all my work by hand, using hand tools in the traditional manner, the methods I use have been used by mankind since metal working was first discovered.

I am currently working with silver, gold, copper and glass.

I do not use PMC3 (precious metal clay) in any of my work, allsurface/texture work is  done by hand using hammers & torches.

I am registered for hall marking at the Scottish Assay Office in Edinburgh where my makers mark is held.

I hope you enjoy my site and I hope even more that you buy a piece!......

Please do not hesitate to email me with any questions you may have on any  of my jewellery pieces.

After you have had a look around, please feel free to leave any comments on my feedback page......

a bit of feedback is a good thing.......I think....lol!

Thanks for looking!

Stephen
